I was looking at nearly every car on the market, new and 'older' cars (like the S2K and M3). Ford, Chevy and Dodge don't have a single car to entice me. They look okay and are insanely popular (oddly I don't like that). The Camaro and Challenger are 22" wheel sporting cars. They aren't tight, nimble, jackets that you slip on and take to the track.

If you want to go fast from one red light to the next then I guess you can stick to the American cars. I chose the FR-S after a lot of looking and constant test drives at every dealership in Raleigh. I finally admitted that the FR-S felt fantastic but it was missing the power a person my age wants in a weekend toy. So a turbo was a given. I can play with this car on straight aways and in the corners. And that's what makes me smile about the car. I'll always find someone in a faster car no matter what you buy. But I feel like I found what fits me and makes me happy.

If you've never driven a turbo FR-S you need to before you really make a decision. It could completely change your mind.
