So it's been awhile since I installed the perrin inlet tube with the K&N drop in. I also plugged the whole in the passenger footwell to really complete the job. What i noticed right after installing everything was that the edu definitely needed about 30 miles to "learn" the new airflow patterns and adapt. After this 30 mile period, the car felt smoother and was so much more quiet. I can't recommend this setup enough for those wanting to eliminate the sound tube and gain a couple hp in the process. I'm confident that with the full complement of bolt ons and a tune, this intake setup will make as much hp as any intake on the market.
