True it may be an easier install and perhaps a bit cheaper, but not by much if any.

I call $1800 for a kit you can install in two hours a lot cheaper and easier than a full time FI system.
Remember, this isn't intended to compete against full time systems. It's not for racing, it's for guys who want an easy to install system that will give them some more grunt when they need it. Like pedal to the metal passing situations or the occasional stoplight showdown.
Plus it comes out just as easy for trips to the dealership.
