Thanks for the replies. It is as I had expected. Kits either relocate the whole MAF or they just leave it pre-turbo.
The reason my application needs a new standalone IAT is because I want to set up a 2nd failsafe for my water/meth injection. It would be a failsafe incorporated in the tune. To do this I would need the IAT in the area post twinscrew blower. When that IAT sees cool temps it means the meth is injecting. If it sees 200 C temps then the meth is not inj properly. In the later case timing would be pulled and fuel added.
Just need to find an IAT that can work with the stock wiring(splicing in) and ecu. Please let me know if you come across anything or have any ideas.
