I wish we could have had it to show other interested FR-S owners at 86EXPO, but we were driving to Las Vegas when we got the call. Our install was quick and simple with no complications, confusion or surprises - 10 minutes tops, with only a #2 Philips screwdriver and a 10mm nutdriver (or socket and extension) for tools. Remember to change the vehicle type from the default 'tC' to 'FR-S', pair your phone and upload contacts, do the radio presets, setup the sound parameters and enjoy.
The new unit displays a Scion logo as it powers up. Volume control is an order of magnitude easier to adjust on the road than our 2013 Bespoke, and I found the unit much more ergonomic, in general. We have an Android phone (Samsung T679), and it works fine. USB and CD functions are as expected. We don't use BT audio, and don't have a backup camera (yet).
If any of you iPhone users are interested, our Bespoke HU will be on the market early next month.
