I had the same issue when I installed the k and n drop in filter, but I reset my ECM before I drove it. Throttle response was bad from a dead stop. It's call a dead pedal. The TPS needs re-learned. I would reset the ECM, then turn the key to the on position and depress the throttle pedal to Wot and back five times. I turned the key back off again before starting the engine but I'm not sure if you really have to or not. The dead pedal should be gone. Mine was. Are you MT or auto?
