That's why I asked you top PM me. ;P Doesn't invalidate my point at all, I've seen the video and live in the area. Per Sector 111 talking on the phone today, it is sold as is, track use only. If you want to get it certified you through the steps I mentioned to do so on your own. To "change it's original condition". It is NOT a smog free process nor do you just go to the DMV and fill out some typical paperwork like a normal registration.
Thus it was not built to be 'road legal' or smog free.

Edit - Got off the phone w/ Sector 111 (US distributor) for further details. The car in the video belongs to Sector 111. It CAN be operated as a street car once it is properly registered and refereed. It will also be smog free 'for life' after the initial smog at the referee station which it should pass. This is all w/ special caveats throughout the process which I will not divulge to preserve a good thing they have going on atm.
