its an aftermarket head unit, so not completely plug and play, but pretty simple. just buy the adapter harness and some plates to fill in the gaps. i just like having OEM stuff in the car, especially when it comes to electronics. the OEM head unit will look OEM because it is. with the 3rd party unit, you will have "plugs" to fill in the gaps on the side. they wont match the rest of the dash panel unless you paint the dash panels black...

but still $475 for a nice head unit compared to about $900 that I'm spending to get the 2014 head unit is like e said "a no brainer" (unless you just REALLy want the stock stuff like I do)
