I have some 04 STI take offs that i want to try out. I thought King Tut said he didn't use a torch but i don't remember him saying what method he did use.

Also if anyone has done the torch method do you have any after pictures? I would like to get an idea of how much browning one should expect.

Thanks!
The difference between mine and most was that mine were relatively new 08-12 calipers and not really old 04 calipers, so my bleeder screws and plugs came out with no heat. I just used an allen socket and a 3/8" breaker bar. I don't know how much browning you should expect, but if you get a small enough torch you can hopefully just heat the plug head to loosen the red threadlocker.
