That's what I figured. It was built to be road legal in the UK, not California. You're going to have to have the lights adjusted or new ones added, bumpers possibly attached, front plate per CHP insepction. Oh, yes you will have to get smogged and certified at a referee station, maybe twice. Not sure if any other restriction apply on where and how far it can be operated.
Edit - Look at their site, it is clearly stated that the Mono is sold as
Track Use Only. So forget everything I said above, you're screwed if you get pulled over on the street unless you can alter the condition after you buy it.
