I was here today and am going again tomorrow. It's a big deal here, pro teams you'd recognize from Speed or NBCsports. Scion is a title sponsor and had a ride and drive of all five models that was by far the busiest event for spectators.

They had 10 Series cars there! No FR-S, but a '14 tC and others straight off the boat last night. I spent some time inspecting the paint. It's flawless, no visible peel, smooth application and finish. However, our FR-S is sprayed in another factory so we'll see. For now, I'm encouraged that the results exceed expectations.
As for the color itself, it was a bright sunny day and the color definitely had more blue than expected. There was a dramatic change depending on viewing angle that's hard to describe but within a few degrees of viewing angle to the sun the color snapped to a lighter silver.
There were three FR-S's on display. One for the ride and drive demo, another with the 5 Axis body kit and Greddy exhaust, the other with extreme audio and Perrin catback. The helpful Scion reps revved them for me and my hope is that the Perrin was unresonated (I have the resonated ready to go) due to the snap-crackle-pop ricey sound. The Greddy Evo sounded perfect, low tone, smooth throughout the rev band.
I told the reps about my inbound 10 Series and they were impressed, gave me all the swag and said I was their perfect customer and requested an on-camera interview. Their first question was "what attracted you to the FR-S?" and I answered honestly, an oil filter for my FJ Cruiser. Then I told the story about having no thought of buying a car that day until I had extra time to burn and the dealer had an FR-S demo out front and after a half-hour you know the rest of the story. I signed a waiver and who knows what will happen to the footage.
Surprise! All of the 10 Series cars had unique floor mat logos, something I hadn't read about. And of course they had the '14 head unit.
Sorry, no camera today, but I'm returning tomorrow and will take a few pics and post up.
