Now that said, I would never roll down the road with that thing on my car. The reason it's ricey to most people is because you don't need that for normal driving. However, on a track like the one they were on, is a totally different story. It does have a purpose.

It says they kept the 200hp motor intact. Though I'm sure the wing is still functional. Necessary? Maybe, maybe not.
