In fact I asked Mr.Tada about the absence of recliner angle memory on seats so it needs not reset each time it is folded for rear seat access,
and he clearly explained that that is also another 5kg on each side of the car, and with the goal of getting it as close to weight targets, it was left out.
Personally I could have lived with the 5kg, but I can also understand that each one of 30-40 requests like this can easily add 100kg to the car...so I respect his decisions. |
Absolutely fascinating testament to the level of design and engineering detail that went into this car. Of course I don't have mine yet and may become thoroughly PO'd, but from other post it's looking like I'll fit into the acceptable category.
