Probably not reliability, but it depends how long you need the car to last. It may last tens of thousands of miles, but it probably won't be capable of the expected 200+k miles of a stock Subaru motor.

Personally, I would rather keep the boxer layout. 2015 STI motor swap. should have no problem with 400 hp and reliability. Can't imagine it would be any harder to fit than a LSx.

But the point of the LSx swap would be to hit much higher number than 400hp. 1000hp BRZ possibility.
