Guys would a 17x9 +35 on the stock tires be unsafe? I don't want to waste my stocks... is that too much stretch?

Hey guys would 18x9.5 +34 fit all around? What size tires would be good? I'm trying not to go for too much stretch as the roads around me are bad and i would rash the crap out of these if I stretched...
