They didn't try anything else first...I had to leave for diagnostics for a coue if days and tha's what they came up woth. Car had about 17k miles then.

That's the sound mine was having and the dealer replaced the throwout bearing, pressure plates (because they collapsed) and the clutch itself. Definitely get it checked out.No issues since then - 11k...

Why wouldn't they make an option to switch between the two? It's weird because I can see the little dot and the third digit as shown in the pictures above. I guess it is what it is then.
