RCE SS-1 lowered about an inch with 17x9 +42 with Falken RT660 245/40R17. No rubbing....

What are the suggestions for wheels that are used for autocross or track days (and possibly driving to and from the track). Put in TPMS sensors and clone the stock ones, or just go without the TPMS...

The B6 are ~$800 and RCE Yellow are ~$340, so...

For me that is really close (~30% more) to move up to $1500 for the RCE...

The think tire noise would be your biggest downside with 225/45R17. I don't feel tires like the Dunlop ZIII and RE71Rs are that much rougher of a ride than most other tires you might have on an 86....
