I'm almost 69 and have had my FRS since they came out (mine was teh first one sold in my city). I still take it to track days. Sold my Mini Cooper S to my kid and replaced it with the 13 FRS in 2012....

Check the clutch throw out bearing. Mine failed along with the bearing carrier/fork.
They are poorly designed at the factory and may be the source of your issue. I had mine go bad a while back and...
