They are not dangerous and average vehicle (Prius) doesn't have the 86's performance either so you can't really compare tyre performance on two entirely different machines.

I find it less balanced and doesn't drive better. Probably more fuel-efficient with 18.6kg less to carry (weighed it) but I think there's only a miniscule difference considering the car is over 12xx...
