On the 2013 the DRLs have nothing to do with the flashers. I have LED high beams and to avoid the flickering DRL issue I simply disabled them using Techstream.

I think the real issue is they took the check from a sedan and threw it on a coupe with significantly longer doors. Even if the BRZ door is lighter, the mechanical advantage will over work a check...

The fact that this happened all of the sudden leads me to believe it's the relay. The horn and AC use the same relay, just swap them and see if you end up with a working AC but randomly failing horn.
