this will be the wheels i'll be getting if i want to get back to the modding scene. imo, 17x8.0 +42 with 225/45/17 tires are the perfect setup for our cars. do 17x8 +42 clear the stock struts?

Too aggressive for my liking. I went conservative and got a set of 17x8 +45 RPF1s with 235/40/17 tires. I had 17x9 +35 before and did not like the front wheels poking out.

So it’s perfectly normal to run stock catback with aftermarket header and tunes. That’s great, now my car feels like a sleeper, sounds like stock 86 but has ace header and flex fuel tune.
