Common symptom when MAF sensor has problem in Subarus.
Cone filters, excessive oil in the filters, vibration etc can cause MAF degradation, try a MAF from a fellow car and see if this is your issue!

I fitted once the Wilwood 6 pots on Impreza GT MY00 and they were very flexible, brackets and calipers, although much lighter than everything else.

I have read for some reason front springs on B6 sit higher so car has height difference, is it right?
