They can use this time to tweak the final gear ratio (not whole transmission), a different engine calibration and suspension. Those shouldn’t be anything that would break the bank.

If they do not put it to a diet, and keep on same weight level as a Camaro, I would take the Alpha platform, which is far better (which does not make any difference on my skill level).
