That's pretty gnarly. What'd you hit? A lesser wheel probably would have broke instead of bending.

I tried looking for more in depth info on the SRO GR86 cup car modifications. Only found just some surface level info.

Do you know if there is a complete build list, with technical specs?

What's your goals for the car? Is a dedicated track car, mixed street & track, mostly street with some track, or just a street car.

I wouldn't go with the CUP suspension unless it's mostly a...

Yeah, for sure, agreed. Operator error should not be covered under warranty. Still sucks for the person that it happens to. All engines are built with a factor of safety. Like a honda K series or...

I have no experience with the previous gen. Are you saying that in the last gen the pistons were the weak point?

At 2 gallon/min, I can't see that there would be any issue with the oil cleanly finding a path through the screen, even if the top was completely blocked.

I feel like you could easily pour 2...

Who makes 17x8 +35 wheels? Sounds like a good size.
I feel like this would work, but I don't know personally.
235/40 R17 would be a bit safer.
Might need a bit more camber. 3* front & 2* rear.

Where did you pick up the studs from? Did you do extended studs and open lug nuts? If you did new nuts, which did you go with?

I'm not as much concerned about big HP gains from a tune, more like getting rid of rev hang, improving engine breaking, maybe flat foot shifting. Junk like that.
