Europe doesn't really do soft barriers for some reason. My guess is a lot of tracks don't have a ton of space to implement them and they compensate by having more course workers and paramedics...

ARP sells OE length, +0.2" and +0.75" length studs. Sounds like the 0.2" longer ones would be a good fit for you. Make sure the lugs aren't bottoming out, might want to consider aftermarket lugs...
