Thanks for all the great feedback. I agree with many of the comments, for example, that the 18" silver Fujians might look better, and that the lesser name brands are probably not worth considering. I...

Don't see the 720forms sold in the US? Thinking of RFP1s in 17x8 with 215/40/17s, though Tire Rack is blowing some Fujian wheels out for $150 each in 18x8. No or little weight savings there, but with...

I'm getting about ~29mpg with about 50/50 hwy/city driving. Stock wheels, tires were never stock, as I purchased the car with about 35K miles on it. Tires are currently some econo Nittos in stock...

Also curious if anyone minds having the tpms light on all the time? I check my tire pressure regularly, and don't plan on immediately getting tpms setup on the new rims/tires. But eventually moving...

720Forms look good, but at about same price as RFP1s, and weight, will probably just consider the RFP1s.

The TRM's look good, but are quite heavy at 19lbs. I'll skip them, but they would be good...

not sure -

Others have noted differences from the stock ~21lb rims to ~15 or 16lb rims, and even measured higher whp on the dyno, and better mpg.

Good questions, I do want the 8" rims in case in the future, I am able to track the car or put big brakes on. But, in the foreseeable future, simply a daily driver. Thanks for the questions and info.

black 17x7 or 17x8 dd wheels, prefer light

most likely will run stock tires, no track, no autox, just daily driving. Anything better under ~250/wheel than the RPFs I realize the 17x8s will handle wider tires, and big brakes, but not really...

I'm probably going to put Michelin Primacy A/S on them for year round use, and comfort which I've put on other cars and enjoyed.

have stock 2014 brz, will lighter wheels improve mpg?

I read stock 17" wheels are about 20lbs.

Kosei or others are 16lbs.

Will I get better mpg and handling converting to lighter wheels?
