That is just a valve shim and part of regular valve adjustment procedure. I had the timing cover and valve covers off on this engine to reseal it and I checked valve lash at that time, it was right...

The rocker arm issue is due to valvetrain geometry. It was improved in the 14'+. Someone on here has reported kicking out a rocker arm at a stop light while idling.

Gyms in my area are staying open against orders at 25% capacity. I'd rather go to a gym with restricted capacity then a grocery store that is packed to the gills.

Depends on your criteria. Stock unmodified street car it is fine. You start to track or autoX it, even with just light bolt on's and a tune and you run into reliability...

It's things like a spun rod bearing or even doing a quick refresh on the top end that take so long and annoy me. Any other engine it is just pull the heads and the oil pan. Not this split the block...

There are lots of places it could be leaking from. I would clean it off for now and check those areas again later to see if you getting more buildup. It is not too uncommon to get a little seepage...
