People in the hobby that I know actually just use automotive bondo. Cheaper and easier to work with than these expensive hobby putties. Haven't tried myself but seen the results

Yeah I bought mine either locally used or on sale. There are usually a few on Kijiji or fb marketplace. I think the 2 silver ones I bought from US cost me like $75 a piece.

I went back and re-did one of my older builds....

I went back and re-did one of my older builds. This is an Autoart 240Z, 1/18 scale. I decided to drill holes in the overfenders I installed previously, and added a total of 24 machined metal rivets....
