As for the part number, I think it was radio shack 272-1092. Good luck with the repair ;)

Also, FWIW, these are white bulbs, there's a small orange screen on the switch's "window". You'll need to remove it if you want to put a coloured bulb.

I finally got around to taking care of this issue...

I finally got around to taking care of this issue this afternoon.

Turns out it's super easy. Both seat heater switches can be taken out by removing the gear lever trim, and unclipping them...

I've ordered a set of bulbs similar to radioshack 7219 / 2721092 (there are no radioshacks here).

They're 3mm diameter grain of wheat bulbs, 6mm long, rated at 12v / 60ma. Let's hope this works.

One of the bulbs on the seat-heater switch panel burnt out on my 86.. Anyone knows whether these can be changed?
