While the separating bead of RTV on the oil pan is concerning, the amount inside the pickup makes me think the loose RTV came from somewhere else (ie. timing cover like the Japanese posts inferred).

I recommend trying out the "Virtual Stage Enhancer" under Vocal Image Control. It definitely helps blend the audio between the drivers, instead of shouting through each one.

Unfortunately, I can confirm the MTEC spring on this gen. creates some unwanted slop at the top of the pedal throw. Removing the spring entirely also induces some slop.

I much prefer it without. The weight doesn't change too drastically, but the feeling of the engagement point is more definitive. I found the stock spring way too close to an economy car feeling.
