In my case, they get used for mainly mountain road driving, commuting and autox use once a month. In my class, all the cars faster than me ran RE71R so I assume that attributed to their faster times...

Isn't running a spacer going to be add more negative offset? If I ran a 5mm spacer I would be effectively at +30, not +40.

I love my recently picked up FRS with TRD springs and sway bars. But the ride... well it can be a little jarring on Colorado roads. What shocks and struts would be good for commuting but wont give up...
