Sounds like normal transmission input shaft chatter due to elevated RPM when the AC compressor is engaged. Do you have any stiffer transmission mount bushings and inserts? These amplify the noise....

Unless you have a stock tune with a bad transient ignition timing table in an early car. I also noticed the stock MAF scaling is not that great in a lot of cars. Probably just sensor variance.

It's best to have the system pull a slight vacuum on the crankcase. We have found with turbo applications, that *sometimes* you can pull too much oil/vapor out of the crankcase and overwhelm the can....
