You should ohm out the fuses that you swapped out after it didn't start. Since you didn't do that I'm guessing you're blowing fuses and you have a short somewhere.

Disconnect the lower mount from your LCA and to turn it like that. If the lower mount doesn't move then as stated above, the threads on the shock body are stripped.

It depends how much they lower the car. RCE Yellows work fine with the stock struts and they lower the care by about 4/5 of an inch.
