It was metal fatigue, one of the bolts holding the motor to the door pulled through, caused assembly to be all off kilter, fabbed a sheet metal patch, drilled a hole and put it back together, works...

Alright finally got a chance to mess with it today, the new spacer and o ring came in and I was able to get the old spacer out, it actually came out pretty easy.
