The reason for asking is because I just installed a 13 row cooler on my naturally aspirated stock engine car. Even when I when I beat on it, I don't get more than 200 deg F.

Kiske, what was the result of the install? Does the oil still heat up faster even with an external oil cooler installed too?

Is the Mishimoto 288 plate thermostatic?
