The other switch is a neutral switch used in the cruse control circuit. You would never know unless you pushed your transmission into neutral without the clutch while cruse control was active.

I agree with the other statements on those pads. They will be fine in autocross. Donít expect them to work above 100 mph. I found that out the hard way, dam near totaled the drivers seat.

Just look for a good price. I have the 2nd rendition at 5k and 5k. Ride 100% better than the PP dampers but you will find the limit on them on the track if you go to a 200 tread wear tire.
