It plugs into the active sound control plug behind the glovebox - I believe gen 1 had CAN available on the standard OBD port and thus this isn't required.

I feel like the gr86 pads get brake fade on the street tbh. one hard stop and they smell horrible.



I recommend swapping to a better pad like raybestos st-43 for track days, then swap back...

i'll say i had a similar experience at mid-ohio. they had good consistent grip throughout a lapping session, my confidence in them only dropped after ambient temps got to 85+ and a lot of rubber...

I hit 6800+ (where i have the yellow light set) in 5th going into china beach frequently, so that puts me in the 123+ mph range.

Maybe could have pulled 130 if I ran 3rd and 4th out further...

I used my NASA coupon to run 2 days at Mid-Ohio in the HPDE2 group and here's my thoughts:
