It IS close. But it will not rub there. I've done 5+ track days with that setup and no rubbing except when turning a full lock to the right. The perch is not going to rub though.

A 17x9 +45 won't rub except on a full lock as I mentioned above. A +35 would be like adding a 10mm spacer to a +45 which is what my car has on it in the photos on the earlier posts....
