Pretty sure there's 2 of them for sale in Manitoba currently.. that's about the biggest market I've seen here in 6 months. Should I even bother with taking it to the
Subaru dealer?

As title says. I'm currently looking at a 2014 BRZ, ~85,000 km on it, I took it for a test drive a day or 2 ago, and there was a ton of resistance in the shifter, it was extremely hard to move left...
