I mean I'm not going to spend money diagnosing it with an oil analysis when I can just let the dealer figure it out. I have an appointment with the dealer on Thursday.

Are there cases of people's 2017+ TOBs failing still? I thought they were solid now.

I commute 48 miles a day and 3/4 is highway.

Mine chirped for a couple days after the car sat for over a week. I think it was due to the small amount of gas that was in the tank during that time.

Crickets died the day after I filled up again.

Same here. They were gone the next day. They might have caused by the small amount of fuel that was in my tank while it sat for a few days. Once I went through it the noise went away.

I've just contracted the crickets at 12700 miles. Seems odd that it started right after the car sat for a few days. Coincidence?
Also, I run 93 with up to 10% ethanol. Mostly from costco.
