Piston powered aircraft will use and always have used leaded av-gas. I came from motocross and know how ethanol effected our fuel systems, the bikes wouldn't run worth a shit. But I see a side too...

My thoughts completely, was just curious if other people battled with the same thoughts on it I did. I have background in a&p and remember a lot about how fuel is burned, and even then 10 years ago....

Thanks for the prompt replies. I'm sure it burns very well in the engine but my concern is still. It is a low temp burning fuel, it is derived from corn "alcohol" if it was left to evaporate I'm sure...

I have E85 readily available here in Arkansas. But also have 93 readily avail. Are there Dino sheets between 93 and e85? I run 93 now I'm just not tuned for it. I'm just worried about the long term...
