Had the same problem with the tomei catless UEL, the thinner metal is the reason why your system sounds leaky... you can try wrapping the header... in the german forums a guy told me, it helped a lot...

No i will keep my n1, i will try a catted uel and if its to loud for me, i will mount my oem header back up.... i paid 400 euro and 3.5 hour drive straight through germany... just for the TUV...
