Sard seat covers in a BRZ Limited..heated seats?

Is it a bad idea to get the seat covers and use them with heated seats?

It won't get as hot. It is almost the same thing as wearing a leather jacket.

If you have the leather and alcantara seats of a BRZ why in the world would you put a poorly-fitting seat cover over them? Not complaining, it's your car do as you like, but I would like to know the mindset because I've seen people do it before and don't understand.

Really? Like grandma leaving the vinyl covers on her couch? I have to admit I did not think of that.

I'd rather keep my seats protected from accidents that could make cleaning it off harder and regretting it later down the road if it doesn't wash off.
