Only decent shot. I like everything else except for the fact that its a BMW and it has a fat ass.

3,450 pounds with the manual transmission and 3,505 pounds with the DCT,

I was like, damn the M2 is gonna be a beast.

Then, SMH when it's heavier than the 370z by a good ~250 lb, which I already consider to be overweight.

although it's heavy, i bet every single person on this forum would take this M2 over the FR-S/BRZ

nikitopo 01-13-2016 10:52 AM

Not everyone ... :)

WingZer0 01-13-2016 10:59 AM

I would take an M2 over my FR-S

GT86meMR2 01-13-2016 11:25 AM

Nope, if i wanted an M2 i would buy one..

bfrank1972 01-13-2016 11:46 AM

Rims look too big

hmong337 01-13-2016 12:02 PM

All those shits look the same lol.

If I had to choose a bimmer, it's be the e46 m3.

STV3 01-13-2016 12:19 PM

Good lord the person that took the pics for that article has no idea how to photograph a car. Those angles were horrible

I'm surprised to see it's that heavy. I thought it was smaller. That being said, it's a tempting idea for a future, high-end lease (I don't think I could ever actually own a BMW). The FR-S would stay, regardless.

I just hope they put this steering wheel on that shit. My dad wants one...

reni 01-13-2016 04:16 PM

Kind of silly to complain about the weight as it's basically the same dimensions and weight as the e46 m3 was 15 years ago. Even the e36 was about 3200lbs back in the 90s

TylerLieberman 01-13-2016 10:15 PM

No M3 style mirrors and slower Nurburgring time than my STI? No thanks.

Sweet car, but it just doesn't quite do it for me. I'll stick with the M3.
