2016 Canadian Track Day Adventures - Epic 5-day track event
 

For those not familiar with the 2015 version of the event called the Ontario1500, this was a 7-day motorsports competition held at 5 Ontario tracks (Mosport CTMP, Calabogie CMP, Shannonville SMP, Cayuga TMP and Grand Bend GBR).

We entered our SlickAuto.ca shop car last year and placed 2nd overall just behind the Speed Academy Scion Racing car. Was quite the feat to have both Scion FR-S in the top 2 positions.

For 2016, this event is renamed "Canadian Track Day Adventures".
It will be happening at the end of May, so we are looking for more participants to sign up by February 1st so that the event can go forward.

Changes from 2015:

• cars will be classed according to their mods based on Ontario Time Attack classing
• event will take place over 5-days, and only 3 tracks (Calabogie, Mosport and Shannonville)
• teams consist of 1 car with 1 or 2 drivers
• 2 sets of tires can be used, and the Rockstar trailer will transport your extra set (no trailer needed!)
• camping will be possible at the tracks in order to reduce hospitality costs (our plan is to camp out)
• events are broken out as follows: 7 Time Attack, 5 AutoX, 1 TopSpeed, 1 Drag, 1 Concourse

If anyone is on the fence about entering, DO IT. You'll have a blast, and the group of people you'll meet will be friends for life.

I almost want to come all the way from Alberta! I was planning to try and make a couple events in the States, but the dollar has me looking into a staycation lol

We have 4 twins entered so far, all Scions. Do it!
