mettalic rattle in decel
 

I just started to notice this metallic sound when the engine decels after letting off the throttle. its always at the same 3krpm as it approaches 2.2krpm. if the car is in neutral it doesn't happen so I have no clue what it is. I got under there this weekend just to make sure something wasn't lose I need some input if anyone has experienced this.

Are you running headers? I know some headers are basically right up against the skid plate, and can rattle in certain circumstances.

Even stock headers can rattle, the heatshield sometimes gets loose.

My stock headers does this under acceleration at exactly 3500 RPM for about 500 RPMs.

My money is on flywheel/clutch/throwout bearing rattle. Have fun googling, lots of videos out there on this forum to compare to.

I saw some videos of the throwout bearing that's like a pinging this sounds more like the splashguard rubbing on the cement as you drive lol. scared the ish out of me first time I heard it.
