About to buy lighting products. Stock reverse lights and led's
 

I'm about to buy the diode dynamics always on drl. I'm also thinking of buying an interior stage 2 or 3 led and the reverse and turn tails.

I just got my Brz not too long ago and have no idea how our tail lights work for reverse and turns. I always thought stock our cars did what the reverse/turn tail light mod already did. Can someone clear this up for me.

Also for people who have the stage 2 and 3 interior led. I was thinking of getting stage 3 but worried it might be too bright.

there are no reverse lights in the tail lights for our car. the reverse lights are on the bottom of the bumper and there are 2 of them (on each side of the red triangle). if you get the tail as turn module, you will want to replace the old rear turn signals with white LED's so you don't get amber when you're reversing. the kit on DD will ask you if you want to add a reverse LED or not.

I converted all my interior lights to LED's and the only thing I regret is choosing 16 lumens LED for the vanity mirrors. they are pretty bright, so I would suggest you go with the 8 lumens one. I also chose the cool white colors for all my LED's. I'm not sure what stages mine were, but I chose lights that were brighter than the OEM ones

when you get your LED's, double check the pins on them. a few of mine had the pins crooked and would have a poor contact with the socket resulting in the bulb randomly not working. I straightened them out and never had the bulb shut off on me.

I might buy new tail lights so I'm not sure if I want to get the led. But if I don't I will let you know.

Does anyone know if the toms tail lights will make use of the tail light turn mod? I'm still deciding whether I want to get the toms tail lights now that people are reporting LEDs burning ouy
