If none of that works, rent an ozone generator and ozone the car for a couple of hours. Ozone will destroy just about any odor. It also kills mold and fungus. This is how hotels get the smell out of rooms when people smoke in them. It's also how auto restorers get nasty smells out of old cars. You can even use them to remove the smell of dead bodies.
You can find instructions on how to do it on line. You don't want to leave it too long, because over long periods of time ozone eats electronics. A short period shouldn't hurt anything, though. |

Do you vape? I've noticed this problem in people's cars that do vape. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I started hanging these Damprid fragrance-free moisture absorbers in my car. They're about $3 for a 3-pack online and help keep my interior absolutely dry. No more musty smells! |
^ Note though that you need to change the damprid out every couple weeks or so, or else it will smell like musty salt.
