OEM Shift Knob = unicorn?
 

I consider myself a pretty decent internet sleuth, but it is proving virtually impossible to find a replacement OEM 6MT shift knob.

All of the "OEM replacement part" stores online have the same parts selection and no shift knobs.

eBay, nothing. Amazon, nothing. Next stop is salvage yards I guess.

I like the OEM knob and want to stick with it. Suggestions?

Buy mine? or look for cars that are wrecked and being parted out?

Have you tried calling the parts department at a dealership and seeing if they can get it? Part number: 35022CA030

Huge help! I had thought the FR-S and BR-Z had different knobs. Once I searched for the Subaru version, a gazillion came up.

As if it was meant to be one literally just appeared on eBay. Done!
