They've been wiped down/dried or washed. Super thin paint and clear on them.

The swirls on the spokes looks like something was stored on top of the wheel. Maybe another wheel with cardboard between them. The other ones, look like they were cleaned with a dirty microfiber. Are they actually brand new? Or just new to you?

there's cardboard which traditional enkei use it on the top and bottom of the wheels others than that it is brand new according to the dealer and i cant see any tire mount history from it.

I picked up a set a while ago and gave them a wash but on two of them I used a very soft scourer style sponge which I have used a thousand times on wheels but on the STI rims it came out looking like your ones. Still shiny but on closer inspection it's noticeable, and yes it's doing my head in :(

That's probably what its from then. The cardboard may have had some dust on it, when they stacked the wheels on top of each other, they could have moved just enough to cause swirls. You could try to use some polishing compound on them and see if that helps :)

I bought mine used with only a couple of small marks on them..

Once they're washed and fitted you'll love em, no one will notice except you, trust me ;) But still Subaru should've known better with packaging, even Rota have better packing..

Yeah it does seem odd then, I still think they've been wiped with something, looking at your third pic it shows the marks between the spokes on the flat bit, mine look like that because of cleaning.. Are all four like that ?
